It was my lucky day when Ethan Allen interior designer Terry Anastos walked up to me a year ago and asked if she might be of assistance. My husband and I were walking around the store to get ideas for our living and dining rooms in our new apartment. Terry listened attentively so she would understand our style, and then proceeded to help us choose everything we'd need. She came to our place, took measurements and mapped out our game plan. She helped us coordinate and choose all of our items, right down to the paint colors on the walls for each of our rooms! The result is a beautiful apartment that feels "like us". I highly recommend Terry for any decorating project you may have!

We have worked on two projects with Terry Anastos at the Stamford Ethan Allen store. Both time, she was able to suggest beautiful pieces that worked wonderfully in our spaces. She knows her products well and has an artistic eye for design and color. Most recently, she was able to suggest a perfect sleeper sofa for our tricky antique space. We love the simple design and beautiful blue leather. We will definitely seek her expertise for any future decorating projects.

Janice at Ethan Allan is Lovely to work with. She was able to help us design two rooms in our new home. She is creative and was able to understand my style and help make great design recommendations. She is a great listener and puts a lot of care into her work. Our furniture has not arrived yet but we are excited to see the rooms come together.

We have been working with Mary De La Parra for over a decade. We started working with her in our late 20s and as our style has evolved, her design recommendations are timeless. The pieces we purchased and loved in our 20’s were not design fads and still bring us the same joy today. Mary just gets us. She makes the entire process enjoyable and her vision and ability to effortlessly tie a full room together is impressive. She is not afraid to tell us her recommendations and she is also a good listener to what we desire in a room. Mary is an expert designer with flawless attention to detail. It has been a joy to work with Mary and we look forward to continuing to make our house a home with Mary’s knowledge and zest for design.

The customer service, the professionalism are so important for such a significant purchase. Delivery was very smooth. I worked with a wonderful designer, Marla Nardi. She had very good knowledge of all the EA products and helped me put together an amazing furniture and lighting package for my new home. I highly recommend contacting her for any of your home design needs.

Excellent selection of high quality furniture. Experienced sales help and wide dining table selection. Keep in mind that this is an upscale furniture storr with prices to match. Plenty of parking on front & side of store. Highly recommended.

5 stars for Ethan Allen in Stamford! I worked with interior designer, Terry Anastos, to design my new living room, amongst other assorted pieces, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Terry listened to my vision, provided thoughtful suggestions, created a beautiful 3D room plan, and helped me select the perfect cat friendly mix of fabrics and finishes for my custom sectional and plush pillows to complement, recliner, host chairs to pair with my current EA dinning room set, and a new console. The store manager, Susan, stepped in to assist when I showed up at the store unannounced on one of my visits. She filled in Terry’s place seamlessly so I didn’t have to wait. These gals are personable, knowledgeable, and go the extra mile to make you create a room that conveys the look you want. This store has a very good vibe with a dynamic staff. Thanks for making my house a home, Terry!
